Announcing a new offering! Your MindBodyLosAngeles blogger (and Certified Integral Qigong and Tai Chi Teacher) Lee Conger will soon be volunteering in the Healthy Workforce Program (HWF) at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center Hospital, 4867 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90027. The official dates are Thursdays, November 14 and December 5, 12, and 19 in Conference Room 20A (adjacent to the Healing Garden that is just upstairs from the Security desk at the hospital entrance). I will be there at 6:45AM to offer a bit of instruction in Qigong Walking Meditation, especially for newcomers to the practice. And then we'll walk from 7:00-7:30AM. The target audience is Kaiser employees, but any hospital visitors who happen along will not be turned away! (There is no fee.)
Unofficially, I'm already meditating (and holding space) over at the hospital at that time anyway. If you'd like to join me, I'd welcome community!
